It’s true that Corbett has not only captured the imaginations but also dreams of many wildlife enthusiasts who come here to witness different habitats. Apart from the Royal Bengal Tiger, the Asiatic Elephant is arguably the next most famous wild resident of Corbett National Park. Some of the other animals spotted in the reserve - Leopard, Cheetal, Sambhar, Wild Boar and Langoor. Also due to 600 species of Avifauna, Corbett is probably one of the richest Bird Sanctuaries in India.
Any wonder then that Corbett has been described as the land of the Roar, Trumpet and Song! |
